Revenue analytics and usage insights for your Hygate workspace.


Overview

The Reports module transforms your payment and session data into actionable business intelligence. Generate revenue reports, analyze usage patterns, and export data for further analysis.


Revenue Reports

Views

WeeklyRevenue aggregated by week
MonthlyRevenue aggregated by month

Switch between views using the time period selector at the top of the Reports page.

Revenue Breakdown

MetricDescription
Total RevenueSum of all SUCCEEDED payments (excluding refunds)
Payment CountNumber of successful transactions
Average TransactionTotal revenue divided by payment count
Refunded AmountTotal amount refunded

Grouping

Revenue can be grouped by:

  • Module — Door vs. Device revenue
  • Location — Revenue per physical location

This helps identify which areas drive the most revenue.

Device Utilization

Understand how efficiently each device is being used:

  • Sessions per device
  • Revenue per device
  • Average session duration per device
  • Utilization rate (active hours vs. available hours)

Setting Revenue Targets

Use historical data to set informed targets:

If last month's revenue = €2,400
And average monthly growth = 8%
Then next month's target = €2,592

Exporting Reports

Download as CSV

  1. Apply your desired filters
  2. Click Export
  3. The CSV includes all visible data rows and columns

Data Retention

Payment records and session data are retained indefinitely. Contact your hosting provider for data backup and retention policies.


Tips for Analysis

Weekly Review

Each week, review:

  1. Total revenue vs. previous week
  2. Any failed payment spikes
  3. Cancellation rate trend
  4. Top-performing location

Monthly Planning

Each month:

  1. Compare against previous months
  2. Identify seasonal patterns
  3. Adjust pricing based on utilization data
  4. Review device performance for maintenance needs

Revenue Optimization

Use the data to make pricing decisions:

  • If a device has 100% utilization, consider raising the price
  • If cancellation rate is high, investigate technical issues
  • If certain locations underperform, review pricing or accessibility
